it is a pleasure to welcome you to the homepage of the 3rd International Workshop on Growth Plate Research!

After two successful meetings in Glasgow 2008 and Stockholm 2010 it is a privilege to have you with us in Vienna 2012.

During the meeting we will have key lectures on relevant regulatory mechanisms in the growth plate given by international experts in the field. Moreover, you and your group are encouraged to present your most recent research data.

One of the most stimulating aspects of growth plate research is the contact and collaboration of Pediatric Endocrinologists with participants of other disciplines which have an interest in cartilage biology: Molecular Biologists, Developmental Biologists, Articular Cartilage Researchers, Tissue Engineerers, to whom our invitation and programme is also addressed.
